Not at all. We have some window films that are near clear and perform better than dark films. You can keep the light and block the heat!

Most manufactures have lifetime residential warranties and 10 years on commercial installations. Its warrantied against cracking, peeling, delaminating/demetalizing, and adhesive failure.

Window film is very safe when follwing manufactures recommendations. Manufactures provide us with recommended installations for each film. Manufactures also provide warranties against breaking or seal failure when used as recommended and installed by a professional.

This is extremely important and why you want a licensed installation company. Most unlicensed installers don't know what is safe, and what isn't on each type of glass. They are often not backed by the manufacture since they are not licensed which is required in this state. It can be a costly mistake.

This will vary based on glass type, exposure, overhangs, shading, etc. On average a 5-15% reduction in energy usage.

We use deionized water for its purity, mixed with a small amount of baby shampoo. This mixture allows us to move the film into position easier during installation. Its completely safe and smells good too!

Short answer is no. The mirrored film you see in the movies works because its well lighted on one side of the glass thats tinted. The other side/room is completely dark. This creates that effect leveraging the reflection properties of the window film.

We do not and most well know brands are not available to the public. They require professional installation.
